Es Pujols Formentera
The Es Pujols beach is made up of two white sand crescents, and turquoise waters that are so shallow they reach tropical temperatures during the summer. You can also enjoy swimming out to the small islets that peek out of the water.
Even though Es Pujols Formentera is the island’s only resort area it still retains some character with ramshackle fishing huts at either end of the beach. There is a ramp for disabled access into the water, and the company Wet4Fun provides all the rental gear you need for any water sports.
Avenida Miramar is the promenade overlooking the beach, and behind that is a network of streets with boutiques, cafes and restaurants. The main High Street of Passeig des Plameres also has plenty of shopping streets. In the evening there is a bustling trade at the market stalls which line the streets.
Es Pujols Formentera has the island’s highest concentration of accommodation, and the island’s most lively nightlife is here. However, even though this is the place to go for young Germans and Italians it is nothing like as wild as Ibiza. Xueno is one of the more popular clubs.
